  • Botox, scientifically known as Botulinum toxin, is a highly popular non-surgical injection that temporarily reduces or eliminates facial fine lines and wrinkles. Commonly treated areas include forehead lines, crow’s feet (lines around the eye), and frown lines. Botox works by blocking the nerve signals to the muscles, which relaxes them and reduces the appearance of wrinkles caused by facial expressions. The effects typically last about three to four months.

  • Dermal fillers are gel-like substances injected beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines, soften creases, or enhance facial contours. Unlike Botox, which relaxes muscle activity, fillers plump up the skin. Common ingredients in fillers include hyaluronic acid, poly-L-lactic acid, and calcium hydroxylapatite, which are substances naturally found in the body. The results vary by the type of filler used but can last from six months to over a year or more.

  • Chemical peels are a highly effective dermatological treatment designed to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck, or hands. By applying a chemical solution to the skin, it gently exfoliates the top layers. The skin that regrows after a chemical peel is smoother and younger looking. This procedure can reduce or improve fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth, correct uneven skin pigmentation, treat acne, soften the appearance of mild scars, and reduce age spots, freckles, and dark patches due to pregnancy or taking birth control pills (melasma).

  • Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) is an advanced treatment used in dermatology to treat a variety of skin issues, including sun damage, precancerous cells (actinic keratosis), acne, and even certain types of skin cancer. PDT combines light energy with a photosensitizing agent, typically a topical drug that becomes activated by light exposure.

  • Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to eliminate varicose veins and spider veins. It involves the injection of a solution, commonly a salt solution, directly into the vein. This solution irritates the lining of the blood vessel, causing it to collapse and stick together and the blood to clot. Over time, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades from view, improving the cosmetic appearance and sometimes relieving associated symptoms.

  • Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a dermatological procedure that uses small needles to prick the skin. This minimally invasive treatment is designed to generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin. Microneedling is primarily used on the face and may treat various scars, wrinkles, and large pores
